Handle Wealth Righteously

Dear Child:

You have many concerns about money, especially in these uncertain times. Listen to My guidance and let Me help you gain wisdom and a solid understanding money and wealth. First and foremost, understand that the earth and everything in it belongs to Me. The world and it's people belong to Me. (Psalm 24:1) I own the silver, I own the gold. (Haggai 2:8) Everything comes from Me. All things were made because of Me and will return to Me. Give Me praise forever! (Romans 11:36)

My blessing makes life rich; nothing you do can improve on Me. (Proverbs 10:22) Submit to Me and be at peace with Me; in this way prosperity will come to you. (Job 22:21) I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees of the field their fruit. Your threshing will continue until grape harvest and the grape harvest will continue until planting, and you will eat all the food you want and live in safety in your land. (Leviticus 26:4-5) In short, I will provide, increase and protect you. Just as the farmer needs help as he labors for good crops; I will help you in your labor and bless the work of your hands. If you carefully obey all the commands I am giving you today, and if you love Me and serve Me with all your heart and soul, then I will send the rains in their proper seasons - the earl and late rains - so you can bring in your harvest of grain, new wine, and olive oil. I will give you lush pastureland for your livestock, and you yourself will have you want to eat. (Deuteronomy 11:13-15)

But remember the LORD your God, for it is I who gives you the ability to produce wealth. (Deuteronomy 8:18) It is required of stewards that they be found trustworthy. (1 Corinthians 4:2) Who then is the faithful and wise manager; whom his master will set over the household, to give them their portion of food at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when He comes. (Luke 12:42-43) Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering My grace in its various forms. (1 Peter 4:10) When you have been given much, much will be demanded; as you will be entrusted with much, much more will be asked. (Luke 12:48) For you will give a personal account to Me. (Romans 14:12)

Loosen your grip on money. If there is a poor man among your brothers in any of the towns of the land that I have sent you, do not be hardhearted or tightfisted toward your poor brother. Rather be openhanded and freely lend him whatever he needs. (Deuteronomy 15:7-8) If you have two shirts, give one to the poor. If you have food, share it with those who are hungry. (Luke 5:11) Give to anyone who ask; and when things are taken away from you, don't try to get them back. (Luke 6:30) If you cannot renounce all that you have, you cannot be My disciple. (Luke 14:55) Money itself is not evil, yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth. After all, you brought nothing with you when you came into the world, and you cannot take anything with you when you leave it. (1 Timothy 6:6-7) Do not be overawed when a man grows rich, when the splendor of his house increases; for he will take nothing with him when he dies, his splendor will not descend with him. Though while he lived he counted himself blessed - he will join the generation of his fathers, who will never see the light of this life. (Psalm 49:16-19) Do not wear yourself out to get rich; have wisdom and show restraint. (Proverbs 25:4)

Make it your ambition to lead a quite life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody. (1 Thessalonians 4:11-12) Work hard, and you will have a lot of food; waste time, and you will have a lot of trouble. (Proverbs 28:19) He who works his hand will have abundant food, but he who chases fantasies lacks judgment. (Proverbs 12:11) Work brings profit, but mere talk leads to poverty! (Proverbs 14:25), so whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for Me, not for men. (Colossians 3:25)

Be still in My presence and wait patiently for Me to act. Don't worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes. It is better to be godly and have little than to be evil and rich. (Psalm 37:7, 16) A stingy man is eager to get rich and is unaware that poverty awaits him. (Proverbs 28:22) Make the most of what I give, both bounty and the capacity to enjoy it, accept what is given and delight in the work, it is My gift! (Ecclesiastes 5:19) Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is My will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions. (Luke 12:15) Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because i have said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5) Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in Me, who richly gives you all you need for your enjoyment. (1 Timothy 6:17) And if your wealth increases, don't make it the center of your life. (Psalm 6:10)

It's obvious, isn't it? The place where your treasure is, is the place you will most want to be, and end up being. (Luke 12:34) No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money. (Matthew 6:24) Serve Me! Whoever trust in his riches will fall, but the righteous will flourish like a green leaf. (Proverbs 11:28) People who long to get rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction. (1 Timothy 6:9) Whoever loves money never has money enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income. This too is meaningless. (Ecclesiastes 5:10)

Most people are motivated to success because they envy their neighbors. But this, too, is meaningless - like chasing the wind. (Ecclesiastes 4:4) For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything you see, and pride in your achievements and possessions. These are not from Me, but are from this world. (1 John 2:16) I know exactly what you need even before you ask Me! (Matthew 6:8) What sorrow for you who buy up house after house and field after field, until everyone is evicted and you live alone in the land. (Isaiah 5:8) When you have a feast, invite the poor; the crippled, the lame, and the blind. They cannot pay you back, but I will bless you and reward you when you rise. (Luke 14:13-14) He who has pity on the poor lends to Me, and I will pay back what you have given. (Proverbs 19:17)

Give as freely as you have received! (Matthew 10:8) On the first day of every week, set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income. (1 Corinthians 16:2) You must present as the LORD's portion the best and the holiest part of everything given to you. (Numbers 18:29) Then, as you have opportunity, do good to everyone, and especially those of the household of faith. (Galatians 6:10) This is how you know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for you. And you ought to lay down your life for your bothers. If you have material possessions and see your brother in need but have no pity on him, how can the love of God be in you? Dear child, do not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. (1 John 3:16-18)

Give and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full - pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back. (Luke 6:38) A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor. (Proverbs 22:9) I can bless you with everything you need, and you will always have more than enough to do all kinds of good things for others. You will be blessed in every way, and you will be able to keep on being generous. Then many people will thank Me when your gifts are delivered. (2 Corinthians 9:8,11)

Bring all the tithe into the storehouse so there will be enough food in My Temple. If you do, I will open the windows of heaven for you. i will pour out a blessing so great you won't have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put Me to the test! Good will come to him who is generous and lends freely, who conducts his affairs with justice. (Psalm 112:5) Remember this saying; "A few seeds make a small harvest, but a lot of seeds make a big harvest." You must make up your own mind about how much to give. But don't feel sorry that you must give and don't feel that you are forced to give. I love people who love to give! (2 Corinthians (9:6-7)

Repay your debts and avoid it. Pay all that you owe, whether it is taxes and fees or respect and honor. (Romans 13:7) The rich rule over the poor; and the borrower is servant to the lender. (Proverbs 22:7) Don't exploit your friend or rob him. Don't hold back wages of a hired hand overnight. (Leviticus 19:13) Don't steal. Don't lie. Don't deceive anyone. (Leviticus 19:11) It is stupid to try to get something for nothing, or run up huge bills you can never repay. (Proverbs 17:18) Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty. (Proverbs 21:5) Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it. (Proverbs 13:11)

Choose my instruction rather than silver; and knowledge rather than pure gold. For wisdom is far more valuable than rubies. Nothing you desire can compare with it. (Proverbs 8:10-11) Dear child; My desire is to see you blessed, but love Me and others rather than blessings and riches. Follow My instruction and drink in My wisdom. Be patient and diligent, plan and save, honor Me and be generous.

Love God
